There is a lot to choosing just the right thing to complete your house styling with great window dressings. If you have a fabulous view do you really want to choose that boldly patterned fabric for the windows that will stop the eye, instead of allowing it to go out to the view uninterrupted? On the other hand, if the view is not so great, it may be a good idea to have some more interesting fabric at the window to detract from the view.
A lot of fabrics do not do well in New Zealand in direct sunlight, so choosing fabric with the right composition is important. If we do choose a natural fabric that won’t last long in sunlight, then there are steps we can take to protect it.
